Patrick Johnson II is the Founder and Vice Chair of the PVJ Literacy Foundation Board of Directors. Guided by the belief that literacy is a gateway to opportunity, Patrick founded the organization with a vision of creating lasting educational impact within communities and helping young people reach their full potential.

To Patrick, the Foundation's mission is deeply personal. Raised in a family dedicated to education, Patrick developed a keen understanding of the power of mentorship, learning, and community investment. His mother and sister are both educators, while his father spent years serving young people as Pop Warner Director. These experiences shaped his commitment to ensuring that students have access to the resources and opportunities necessary to succeed.

Patrick brings a strong record of leadership, discipline, and service to the Foundation, dating back to his time as a student-athlete and team captain for the Texas A&M track team.
