Narius Nedd serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of the PVJ Literacy Foundation. Narius oversees the organization's operations, strategic initiatives, partnerships, and long-term growth. Passionate about expanding educational opportunity and empowering underserved communities, Narius is committed to building programs and partnerships that help students develop the literacy skills, confidence, and resources necessary to succeed.

Born and raised in Acres Homes, one of Houston's most historic African American communities, Narius developed a deep appreciation for the power of education, mentorship, and community service at an early age. His experiences growing up in a community rich in culture, resilience, and leadership continue to shape his commitment to creating opportunities for future generations.

Narius earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Politics and Diplomacy from Texas A&M University, where he became known for his commitment to leadership, service, and community engagement. Throughout his time at the university, he worked to build connections across diverse communities, mentor fellow students, and advocate for initiatives that promoted educational opportunity and civic involvement. His contributions to student life and leadership were recognized with the prestigious Buck Weirus Spirit Award, one of Texas A&M University's highest honors for student leadership and service.

Throughout his career, Narius has worked across education, government, community engagement, and public affairs. He has served as an educator, legal analyst, judicial intern, political campaign coordinator, in the project management sector and as a community liaison, gaining valuable experience in leadership, advocacy, public service, and organizational development. Currently, he works with community leaders, educators, and public officials on initiatives that strengthen educational opportunities and improve outcomes for students and families.
